Book Inspiration: My Ông Ngoại’s Garden
My Ông Ngoại’s Garden was inspired by Ann Chau’s childhood and her father's passion for gardening. Thanks to her dad, Ann grew up surrounded by vibrant, delicious fruits such as dragon fruit, papaya, persimmons, soursop, bananas, and guava. These fruits brought much joy to countless family, neighbors, and friends.

As a parent, Ann enjoys watching her sons experience that same wonder as they explore the fruits in their grandpa’s garden. Through her children's book, Ann hopes to inspire children to develop a curiosity for different fruits and an appreciation for Vietnamese culture. My Ông Ngoại's Garden is a must-read for anyone who wants to experience the joy of gardening.
